Jerry and Cheryl Morrow wanted a canoe that could be easily portaged and carried in the back of a pick-up truck, so they modified this Chestnut Prospector canoe by cutting it in half. Each half weighs 42 pounds. GEMINI is strip-built of poplar strips with ash trim.
Paul Marshall of Granite Falls, Washington, was very proud on September 1, 2013, when he launched his Yankee Tender after 30 years of (as he says) working on it in "fits and starts." She is the 12′6″ × 4′6″ design from WoodenBoat based on an Asa Thompson skiff design.

This is the most recent of two Abenaki kits I have built (materials supplied by Newfound Woodworks of Bristol, NH). It was a joy to build and even more fun to paddle. My wife and I launched this canoe on Drakes Creek in Franklin, KY on October 10th, 2021. It tracked nicely was very stable.
Glass over plywood lug rigged pram
Bill Farquhar had great fun building this pram for his daughters, Lauren and Katie. When she was launched in June 2003, they used juice boxes instead of champagne to christen her. She is an Eastport Pram with a length just under 8' and a beam of 4'.
