Philip Bolduc spent less than $1000 in the construciton of this Sailfish look-alike. Chosen for its simplicity, he used stitch-and-glue construction with pieces of 1/4" plywood.
GNALGAN has been my project over the winter months in Victoria, Australia. The name is an Australian Aboriginal word for the “Nankeen Night Heron.”She is made of 4mm marine ply which has been coated inside and out with fibreglass.
This Lawton Yacht tender was built by Michael Strong in L’Etete New Brunswick over the winter months. She is planked with 3/8 inch cedar over ash frames, and fastened with copper rivets. Guards, wales and transom are made of white ash. With two rowing stations, she is able and seaworthy.
