LIZ

Kees Bugel first built an 18' cedar pulling boat designed by Ken Bassett. From there, he moved to this more complex Lala design by Joel White. The boat is cold-molded and includes a small Volvo auxiliary engine. Kees named the boat for his wife, Elizabeth, and launched her in Roggebot Harbour, Kampen, in the Netherlands in June of 2007. Kees and Liz enjoy sailing LIZ on the Ketelmeer and Ysselmeer near their home.
