Historic Spanish Point is an archaeological site and museum on 30 acres of water front on Little Sarasota Bay in Osprey, Florida. HSP runs a maritime boat building and repair program on the original site of Frank Guptill’s 1890s boat yard.
After 15 years of on-again, 0ff-again building, EILEEN was launched on Blue Bill Cove in Rhode Island. Built of cedar strips with an oak keel, she's a 14′ centerboard sloop with a gunter rig, designed by Tony Dias, and built by Jim Lengel of Cedar Cove Cottage.

This Auklet has been built last Winter by Ernst (54) und Tristan Glas (9) as a tender to their wooden sailing boat Rondine, a 13m sloop, finished in 1993. The Auklet is now sailing at rondines foredeck.
Construction began in 2002 with a set of plans and a stack of wood and finally finished in 2018. Starting a business, raising three kids, selling a business all got in the way — excuses, excuses, I know. Lola was planked with okoume plywood with mahogany knees, inwales, skeg, and breasthook.

Bruce Johnson built this Steve Killing designed Endeavour 17 sea kayak in 2002. ANONA is strip-planked with western red cedar, maple, and "Louisville slugger" ash. ANONA is a native American word meaning 'laughing water'.
