LUCKY LADY TOO
The “LUCKY LADY TOO” was built from a Portage Pram kit purchased from Duckworks in Port Townsend WA. It is a tender for our 1969 30' Tollycraft Royal Double Cabin cruiser, The Lucky Lady. The weight is approximately 40 lbs.
BANSHEE
Andre Cloutier took a course in March 2007 at the Antique Boat Museum in Clayton, NY with John Summers on how to build a 16/30 canoe. He took home the unfinished boat and continued working on it until the launch in early August 2007.
Oiseau
Everyone seems to love this little boat. Building one of Iain Oughtred’s designs has been a real pleasure — his plans are superb and to my eye at least are a work of art on their own. She performs really well, just out paddling, fishing or taking on some easy rivers.
Nutshell Pram
Michel Côté spent three months building this 7′7″ Nutshell pram designed by Joel White. He launched in on Clapham Lake in Québec Province, Canada, in July 2012.
SUNSHINE
J. Keith MacKenzie started construction on this Jay Benford dinghy in 2002. A 74 years of age, Keith thought it was time he built a rowing boat. He got materials and help from Captain Jim Shotwell of Nescopeck, PA.
"It'll Do"
On Saturday August 12, 2017 at Green Lake in Dedham, Maine I launched, with my daughter Jackie and her husband Ryan Francini my Jericho Bay Lobster Skiff that I named “It’ll Do”. I purchased the plans from WoodenBoat Magazine and began construction in February.
Mill Pond Skiff
Pease Boat Works in Chatham, Massachusetts, recently designed and launched this 17′6″ × 5′7″ center-console Mill Pond skiff. The hull is built from marine plywood, fir, and angelique, covered with a layer of fiberglass and epoxy.
Haven
The design brief for Haven was inspired by Lyman and other lapstrake runabouts popular in the late 1950s. She was designed for me by Paul Gartside.
