The Stevenson Projects Weekender design is forty years old this year! Inspired by the classic lines of Friendship sloops, but translated to plywood, the Weekender has the looks of a classic era and the light-strong straight-forward simplicity of more modern materials.

The i550 is a very popular 18 foot stitch and glue design. Simple construction and avid builder blogs and websites add a sense of community and support for the builder.

We included in our catalog this boat for a request of one of our customers who identified in this model the traditional American boat, whose designs were published in WoodenBoat magazine, with the strange name “Dispro”, which meant the “Disappearing propeller boat”.
