Sailboats - Racing

START 30

The plan has been designed according to the regulations of the class “10 feet”. So was born a simple, light and very fast plan.Start 30 has a double life. A boat for double crew (for two boys with the maximum weight of 50 kg cad.) and a boat for a single person with main only.In order to modify the boat from the double version to single, it is sufficient to replace the upper part of the mast removing also shrouds and stay and to put aftward the mast. With this double nature it can be race in class ten feet both with single and double crew. The construction is in plywood with the method of stitch and glue.Own for its simple nature, could be considered the boat to start sailing for children and adults.
