GRAVY
GRAVY is the first boat I’ve ever owned. I saw one of designer Berkeley Eastman’s micro tugs at the waterfront boat museum / restaurant at Disney Springs and fell in love. GRAVY is the Candu Junior model.

My first boat !
I started her late 2017 but in March 2018 I quit my job and worked on her every day.
MARION is a Shenahdoah Whitehall skin on frame boat designed by Dave Gentry (http://gentrycustomboats.com).
Working after school during her sophomore and junior years at Hemlock High School, Lindsay Cook built this 15'8" x 26"kayak H.M.K. RELENTLESS. Following the plans for Pygmy Kayaks Osprey Standard, she used okoume mahogany plywood and epoxy.
After admiring the Crowninshield FAME, and Maynard’s article a few years back, I decided to imitate the high peaked spar design of the sails. CAPTAIN NATHAN is 19 inches long, 6 inch beam, 8 inch keel with weights. It sails best in some breeze, with a tendency to windward.
I fell in love with the Biscayne Bay 14 when I first came to Woodenboat School 30 years ago. Life intervened, and it took nearly 30 years before I built a boat from the plans I bought way back when. She is largely built according to the how-to articles in WoodenBoat issues 96-98.
Originally launched June 25, 2005, this Cosine Wherry needed a refresh. The sliding seat was removed and a more traditional interior was installed this summer. Two cedar strip buoyancy tanks were added, along with many coats of varnish and new oars from Barkley Sound Oar & Paddle.
Restored beetle cat type boat, new north sails, great shallow water boat, perfect for Florida waters.
In February 2013, I decided to build something not-so-typical of a 40-something mom with a full-time job. I realized that I needed a hands-on, challenging project to gain self-confidence, and something that I could use for years to come. With support of Dennis at NorthWest Canoe in St.
Well, it's been about two years since I started working on the boat. Like most of my projects, it sat idle in the garage while priorities shifted and free time vanished. She's finally done, though, and we launched her at a nearby lake last weekend.
Hand built, One of a kind. Hull is sound, roof and rear wall of pilot house need repair.
