ARTEMIS is a John Atkin design, (#772 Wanderer), that my father started building in 1957 and I finished and launched here in VT in 2005. Well, finished is not correct as I am still working on her, and re-fitting her for her 20th anniversary on the water next year.

RANDOM was built in 1949 in Sausalito, CA by Nunes Bros Boatyard. She was hull #7 of 17 of the Hurricane 30 class yachts built in the 40s and 50s.

1928 Herreshoff Herreshoff 12 1/2 (No. 1084, Alouette) in excellent condition. Fully restored by IYRS in 2007. Sailed and maintained annually by current owner. Located in Glen Cove, NY.

ALDEN TEEL

Fourth sharpie built from the lines I took off a Briggs built sharpie in Westport Point Mass in 1987. ALDEN TEEL, named after my father, A.T. Ring,  was started in 2012, but not completed until 2024.

Montana Pram

I built this slightly stretched version (9 1/2 to 11 ft) of Paul Butler’s Montana Pram for my son, his wife and 2 daughters (2 and 7) exploring for ducks, frogs, and adventure on a small pond adjoining their back yard.  We launched it on my granddaughter’s 7th birthday in July 2024.
