Andrew Green recently launched his Wee Lassie canoe. This is the second Wee Lassie he has built. This one is 10′6″ long version weighing 31 lbs using the blue print plans created by Mac McCarthy and using instructions from his Featherweight Boatbuilding book.

A stately 10′ rowing/sailing tender originally designed for my own first time build which is currently underway. I wanted an easy to construct boat, yet still retain the techniques and appearance of traditional lapstrake planking.

SEA WINGS

This vessel was built in 1957 by Naval Architect Ted Carpentier in who also worked as an engineer for Hughes Aircraft. It was custom built for the CEO of United Airlines (in fact, the original spinnaker is in United Airlines colors).

Custom Larson 40

This G. Taylor Newell design built by Othar Larsen of Norge Boats in Drobak, Norway is in the water and ready to sail away. Located in Branford, Connecticut she has been maintained by Dutch Wharf Boatyard under the stewardship of a knowledgeable owner.

MISS SHERWOOD

Take a step back in time to the year 1949 when Humphrey Bogart and Ernest Hemingway were cruising from the Hudson River down to the Florida Keys on a Matthews 40′ Sport Cruiser.

St. GALLEN

Year Built:
1950s

Originally manufactured in east Germany in the 1950s, St. GALLEN underwent a full rebuild in Port Jefferson New York with the help of volunteers at Bayless Boat shop. The rebuild took four years and consisted of replacing the hull; portions of the deck; and fabricating spars amongst other work.
