A fun and easy winter season build of the Chesapeake Light Craft Paddleboard from plans and a frame kit. I really wanted some colours that popped, hence the orange patterned cloth and blue grip pads. Total build time was probably less than 75 hours.
Built in Berrys Bay Sydney Australia by WM Boatbuilders in 1925 Now moored in Prince of Wales Bay Marina, Hobart Tasmania
Full restoration (2004-'08) of 1940 Borreson. Length 29.2ft. Beam 6.4ft. Double planked, fiberglass encased below water line. Harken hardware, North sails. Exterior is varnished wood with gold cove stripe. Cedar mast. Comes with excellent dual axle trailer. Asking $35,000.
