Offshore cruising catamaran

The 18ft STRIKE is a sailing trimaran design that uses a 16ft beach cat as the outriggers/amas and rig. The main hull is plywood and has a dory shape that is extremely easy to build.

A stable (28 1/2″ beam) strip-built touring kayak.

Planked up with 1/4″ cedar strips.

Construction: Strip planked.

Lofting is required.

The Headwater TRANSPORT 9.9 is an easily Car-Topped Pram Dinghy with a constant deadrise 10 deg. V-bottom Planing Hull  with lifting chine strips.  Bow and stern seats provide level flotation if the hull is swamped, and also provide dry storage if watertight closures are installed. 

Construction — Glued lapstrake clinker plywood. Alternative construction —Traditional plank, cold molded and strip plank. No Lofting required. Plans include 7 sheets with instructions. Sail Area — Lug 65 sq. ft. Sloop 84 sq. ft. Yawl 81 sq. ft.

A roomy, comfortable auxiliary cruiser with sufficient headroom, two cabins and an enclosed head.
