MAGGIE O'

Builder Name:
Chris O'Connell

This is my CLC Shearwater Sport Hybrid. Believe it or not this is the first thing that I have ever built from wood. It took me a little over 2 years to build. Built in an unheated building and working with epoxy in Buffalo gives you less that 6 months to work per year.

KINTSUGI

Builder Name:
John Millen

The plans are a Platt Monfort Classic 12′ that I stretched out to 13′. I beefed up the backbone a bit from the mast step to aft of the daggerboard trunk anticipating its sailing life. The lug sail, spars, daggerboard and kick-up rudder came from CLC BOATS as a kit for their Passagemaker Pram.

Muffin

Builder Name:
Richard Lovelace Sr.

This was a kit boat that I customized using many inlays, wood tractor style seat with matching backrest. All exotic wood.

Wood Duck 12

Builder Name:
Jeff Allen

This is a kit-built stitch and glue kayak from the friendly folks at Chesapeake Light Craft, Annapolis, MD. The hull is constructed of okoume marine plywood. I elected to tackle the hybrid version which incorporates the tri-color cedar strip deck.

The Black Sheep

Builder Name:
Rev. Thomas W. Tassone

This is a 2013 new-build, designed by James-Craft; The Black Sheep is a reproduction Chris-Craft Kit Boat, 1956 Zephyr Runabout. I spent about 600 hours building her over the course of 4 summers — about 10 hours per week June-August. This is my first boat build.

Stradivari Mk IV

Designer
Hasse malmsten

This is a design for the 2.4mR class. The measurement formula is the same as for the bigger sisters like the famous 12mR yachts once used for the Americas Cup. As the down-scaling would leave the boat with to little righting moment there has been some adjustments to take care of this.

CORRYVRECKAN

Builder Name:
Sardine Boats

Frank Bailleul launched his sea kayak CORRYVRECKAN built and designed by Sardine Boats on the Bono river, south Brittany-France. The CORRYVRECKAN is a stitch-n-glue kayak designed for tall paddlers and touring.

I recently purchased a used Pelican sailboat with number 9731. She's 11.5 ft long.
Would anyone be able to steer me toward some more information about the age or the boat or builder? The seller did not have the information and was not the builder.
