In June 2012, Brooklin Boat Yard of Brooklin, Maine, launched LARK, a 47′6″ daysailer designed at the the yard. LARK has a cold-molded hull built from wood, epoxy, and carbon fiber. She has long overhangs fore and aft, draws 7′6″, and displaces 10,800 lbs.
Jim Vibert of Windwalker Boats in Ottawa, Kansas, wrote us earlier this year to tell us that he'd just delivered a San Francisco Pelican to a client in Topeka, Kansas.
Jerry Stein of Neenah, Wisconsin, built this 15′ canoe, a Hiawatha design by Bear Mountain Boats, and shown in Canoecraft, by Ted Moores. He built the hull from western red cedar and ash, then sheathed it with fiberglass cloth, inside and out.
