"It'll Do"
On Saturday August 12, 2017 at Green Lake in Dedham, Maine I launched, with my daughter Jackie and her husband Ryan Francini my Jericho Bay Lobster Skiff that I named “It’ll Do”. I purchased the plans from WoodenBoat Magazine and began construction in February.
Spira Designed Pescadero
Here is a Jeff Spira designed Pescadero I recently completed. It’s a Carolina style dory style that's been customized for fishing the central west coast of Florida. The boat performs well and makes a great fishing platform.

This is a flat-bottomed 16-foot fishing boat called a gandelow (see WB 249 and 250) used in the Shannon river estuary of western Ireland.

Herreshoff Biscayne Bay 14
Here’s my recently completed Herreshoff Biscayne Bay 14 built from a WoodenBoat plan. I read the construction article in WB issues 96-98 back in 1990-91 and loved the look of this boat. Made a few minor changes to the plan and outfitted the boat using all antique or replica hardware.
TWEAK
Here is a small dinghy which can be used for fishing, pleasure rowing or as a tender of a bigger boat. TWEAK was born by tweaking the popular D4/D5 dinghy.
SILVER HEELS
SILVER HEELS is the well-known Coaster-type schooner who was on the cover of the first issue of WoodenBoat magazine (then called, THE WOODENBOAT).
In 1963 she benefited from Murray Peterson's drawings and Malcolm Brewer's craftsmanship in Camden, Maine.
