BLUEGILL

Builder Name:
David johnson

Great boat for the low water Inland tributaries of the Chesapeake Bay. My wife sewed the sail from Sailrite. I was lucky to have a neighbor who had a lathe to turn the 13ft mast.

TURTLE

Year Built:
2013

Built this little kayak from a Chesapeake Light Craft kit for my wife. Nothing fancy, she’s been happily paddling around in it for 7 years now. I sealed the rear hatch and there is no lashing on deck because she just uses the boat for summer evening paddles.
