Family cruising catamaran

An easy-to-build boat designed to ship as a kit in a flat pack box. Everything needed to complete the boat, except the motor, is included in the kit.

My client wanted to circumnavigate, Cape Horn and all!  He wished to build the boat himself and had limited skills in boatbuilding, limits on his budget, and a space about the size of a double garage.

A shoal-draft, two-sail bateau from the Chesapeake - comfortable cruising for a couple and a daysailing party.

Lofting is required.

Plans include 7 sheets.

Strumpet was designed for a very experienced yachtsman. He told us he wanted a boat based on the Scottish fishing trawlers distinctive double-ended hull forms for appearance and seaworthiness.

The M-Yak 500 is a sleek and fast sit-on-top kayak for one or two paddlers that can easily built in stitch-and-glue.The 4′-2″ long open cockpit offers enough space for two average sized paddlers.

Here is a fine little working type punt that feels at home in the marshlands, as well as the open bay waters.She is 14′-9″ long and was designed around a working load, with a draft of about 3″.

The Duo is a simple to build 3m (10ft) hard chine rowing and sailing dinghy that can be built from just two sheets of 4mm (3/16in) plywood. It is also available as a nesting dinghy, so it can be stored on a cabin roof or even in the back of a car.
