START 55

Start 55 expands the range of self-construction project of our Studio. This boat is simple to build and has been developed keeping in mind the class rules of INTERNATIONAL MICRO CUPPER.The goal is to provide the design of racing yacht to all those who want to challenge in the race at high level without spending much money.The construction method is the sewing-paste, the materials are mahogany Okoumè 8mm thk for the hull and deck, mahogany Okoumè 10mm thk for the interiors.The sail plan is split, with mainsail of 12.00 m2, jib of 6.50 m2 and spinnaker of 19,60 m2.The drift is made of wooden blade reinforced with stainless steel which is bolted the lead torpedo of about 90 Kg.The rudder is made of wooden profile, with an aluminum core.The interior is very simple to the limit of rule and it offers hospitality to 4 crew members.
