The FireBug is a small sailboat or yacht that you can amateur build at home, sailing club or school, then learn to sail. It's easy to sail and will be the fastest boat on the bay. Low cost too!
ZEN is a very simple 10 Foot boat (www.diecipiedi.it) particularly narrow and therefore unstable. It is not the right boat for a beginner but, in the hands of a good helmsman, it may be fast.

The LINNET is a seaworthy rowing boat that has been specifically designed for sea use. Accordingly it does not have outriggers or a sliding seat while a small daggerboard is fitted to help prevent being blown sideways by the wind. A good load carrier, LINNET can be rowed by 1-3 people.
Simon found an older version of this boat back in the eighties and realized that its thousand-year-old design could be copied and preserved without too much difficulty. He measured it out in ’89 and Bill Nielsen lofted it and drew up the plans in ’91.
