The Sea Island Sport is CLC’s response to hundreds of requests for an attractive stitch-and-glue sit-on-top kayak. Credit for the design goes to Nick Schade.

Bedard Yacht Design’s Ozona X Nesting Pram evolved from the hugely popular Ozona Pram and a significant demand from cruisers for a nesting dinghy, slightly larger.

My client wanted to circumnavigate, Cape Horn and all!  He wished to build the boat himself and had limited skills in boatbuilding, limits on his budget, and a space about the size of a double garage.

A narrow beam and shallow arch hull make the Canadien ideal for general-purpose paddling and light tripping.

Safe, dry, fast, and seaworthy V-bottomed inboard powerboat designed for carvel planking.

Construction: Carvel planked over sawn frames.

Alternative construction: Strip

Lofting is required.

Propulsion: 6 cylinder 350 cubic inboard.

Plans include 6 sheets.

The Cradle Boat Baby Tender, for the newborn sailor.

Flat-bottomed sailing skiff. Plans options include cross-planked or plywood bottom.

Construction: Cross-planked bottom, lapstrake sides

Alternative constuction: Plywood, glued lapstrake plywood

Tern is a lengthened (to 23'9') version of my earlier 20' design Ratty.

Our pre-cut kits are cut by computer-guided routers to provide you with extremely accurate parts. And, the kits come with just about everything needed except the elbow grease.The ladder frame—the “foundation” of the boat—is included with the kit.
