Kingfisher’ II is was developed directly from Kingfisher. Hull shape was modified with with flatten side line and reduced height. Other hull dimensions remain the same, width of 93 cm, flat bottom and slim shape gives good stability and maneuverability.
The Chesapeake Bay is home to many wonderful work boats, one of the most unique is the tiny Smith Island Crab Skiff. Our team race boat the “Twisted Oyster”, built and raced by a consortium of three friends, has been very successful.
We included in our catalog this boat for a request of one of our customers who identified in this model the traditional American boat, whose designs were published in WoodenBoat magazine, with the strange name “Dispro”, which meant the “Disappearing propeller boat”.
These completely new designs were developed at CLC in response to a growing constituency of skilled paddlers seeking waterborne sports cars for racing, exercise, or just plain fun.
The candlefish is a versatile small fishing boat. Originally designed to be a cartoppable fishing skiff for high latitude rivers and lakes, she has also proven to be an excellent yacht tender.
