Stable, easily handled family daysailer with a lead ballast keel. Construction: Carvel planked over steamed frames. Alternative construction: Cold-molded or strip. Lofting is required. Plans include 9 sheets.

The Sapphire 27 is developed from our very successful Design No. 056, to give a more traditional cruising oriented layout both down below and on deck.

Lapstrake-plywood daysailer with a shapely wineglass transom, unstayed sprit rig, and wide, flat, keels for easy trailering.

Construction: Lapstrake plywood planking over steam bent frames.

Alternative construction: Cold-molded or strip.

No lofting is required.

This small dinghy can be used for fishing, pleasure rowing or as a tender for a bigger yacht. It can also be fitted with a small outboard motor. The boat has a relatively high freeboard and can take a fair amount of load. It handles very well small waves or wake caused by powerboats.

Wynfall is a small but capable cruising boat -- although only 26' long, she has a waterline of almost 24', and displaces 9500 lbs.
