After a period of almost 13 years I finished my wooden schooner and launched it in a canal near my home in the eastern part of Holland. First I had to pass a lot of bridges before I could finish it all with stepping the masts.

CAPITAL GAINES is a glass over plywood boat constructed with sapele frames, meranti marine plywood, with sapele and cypress accents. It’s powered with a Yamaha 70hp outboard motor.
1978 Old Town Guide. This 18′ canoe is powered (when necessary) by same vintage Shakespeare Wondertroll 606 on an Old Town outboard motor bracket. Used lovingly by one family since new on trout streams throughout Arkansas.
I spent the Covid-19 Lockdown finishing Nā Mo’opuna (Hawaiian for The Grandchildren), a 9′6″ Nutshell Pram.
Great boat for the low water Inland tributaries of the Chesapeake Bay. My wife sewed the sail from Sailrite. I was lucky to have a neighbor who had a lathe to turn the 13ft mast.
Built this little kayak from a Chesapeake Light Craft kit for my wife. Nothing fancy, she’s been happily paddling around in it for 7 years now. I sealed the rear hatch and there is no lashing on deck because she just uses the boat for summer evening paddles.

ROBIN HOOD II is built of solid Jarrah planking, Karri ribs and Wandoo keel stem horn timber with Nyatoh and Melunak fit out. She is a 32′ long timber Pilot Cutter built in Western Australia in 1958 by Van Giels Ship Builders Pty of Point Perron, Rockingham.
