Built 1951, Overall length 32 feet, Length on deck 30 ft., Beam 11 ft., Draft 3 ft centerboard up, 7 ft 6 inches down. Hull: Cape Cod Catboat with trunk cabin (design #870). Cedar planks on oak frames. Lead ballast. Bronze fastenings and bolts, also galvanized bolts.
Professionally completed by Marty Loken in 2024, the design of “Mouse” was inspired by late-1800’s British beach boats.

This boat is executed beautifully, as you can see from the photos. It won “Finest Small Boat” at the Chapman School of Piloting wooden boat show.
