Cold Molded 30' Wood sloop Silmaril. Built 1984, Oak and Mahogany with Mahogany Marine Ply, outer sheathed with Western Red Cedar, glassed over below waterline. Hull above waterline epoxy fiber-glassed over in 1997. Every individual wood part of boat fully encapsulated with epoxy in building process. 9'6" beam,5'1"draft, 1,000lb lead fin keel, epoxy glassed Mahoghany rudder. Tohatsu 9.9 4 stroke outboard, cruises at 6.5 Kts. 5'4" headroom below, berths for 3 main cabin, double in forepeak. Sailed Tappan Zee to Eastern LI sound and Block Island every year '94-'12, berthed in Stratford since then. Hull very sound, deck needs work but very sailable. $1,500.
