This stable, fast and beautiful Wherry is designed for sliding-seat rowers who want to get out on the open water – lake or protected ocean - and have enough payload for picnics or camp-cruising. • Hull length: 18’- 3” • Beam: 36” • Like-new condition – used just 2 years. • Wood/fiberglass construction • Includes oars, custom canvas cover and Trailex trailer • Year built: 2018 The Wherry is incredibly stable and easy to handle in ocean chop and waves, and it just glides in flatwater. It is also very dry, with most of the splash of waves deflected by the hull design. Four separate watertight compartments designed for gear storage, all accessible through hatches. Mounted Piantedosi monorail sliding seat, considered the gold standard for recreational rowing. The Dreissigacker Concept 2 oars are older, but well balanced and a dream to use. Comes on a custom designed Trailex aluminum trailer for easy transport and delivery of the boat into the water. The hull weight of the Wherry is only 92lbs, so any car can easily pull it. The trailer is simple to maneuver and is a great place on which to store the boat when it is not in the water. An injury prevents me from rowing anymore, and it is time to sell. The Wherry is seaworthy in all kinds of water without the tipping issues that are common to racing shells. And it is beautiful on the water.
