Footloose combinines the traditional lines and salty looks of the classic flatty skiff, with the ease of building and seamless integrity of plywood construction for unclomplicated boating.
LITTLE CRAB is a smaller version of the Chesapeake Crab Skiff I drew several years ago.
Centerboard sloop with inside ballast and two settee berths for coastal cruising.
Construction: Carvel planked over sawn frames.
Alternative construction: Strip.
Lofting is required.
Plans include 5 sheets.
NEMAH features a stable, flat bottomed, sharpie type hull that can handle up to 3 passengers and a small outboard up to 5hp. Sides are ¼” plywood and the bottom is 3/8” plywood. A trussed gunnel rail insures hull stiffness.
Round-bottomed, transom stern, centerboard, 2-4 daysailing.
Contruction: Carvel planked over steamed frames
Alternative contruction: Lapstrake, strip or cold-molded
Lofting is required

Good speed and sea keeping ability with low impact & noise. 50hp outboard or inboard diesel.
Our Talon Series boats are designed to handle good seas with speed and comfort. We use a 30 degree dead rise found on production speed boats to make a soft ride.
