This 32′ double-ended sharpie ketch will provide the amateur builder with a shoal-draft cruising boat of simple construction.
Construction: Plywood planking over sawn frames.

The idea behind this design was to see how much boat can be squeezed out of a single sheet of plywood 4x8′ (1220 x 2440mm). The resulting boat is suitable for kids to paddle on ponds or very small lakes.
This design has the same nice interior space layout as Badger, with the addition of quarter berths aft. For a family of four to live aboard, as has been done on one of the sisterships, this provides good separation of the sleeping spaces.
The Kitty Hawk 26 is a cold-molded, Carolina Style center console. Powered by a single four stroke outboard, she will be an economical offshore fishing boat.
