ALBATROS 26’ is the smallest sister of the ALBATROS family, our modern classic yachts. Far its size it cannot be defined a “blue water yacht” but it is a seaworthy boat.
The cradle boat Baby Tender is an adaptation of the classic yacht tender carried aboard many of the finest yachts during the time when wooden boatbuilding was truly an art. The boat has a length of 45 in. and a beam of 22 in.
Designed as a cat schooner; both sails have big round poles at their leading edges. Considering the performance potential of this hull, this rig is appropriate. The stayless rig is clean and will be cheap to build with solid fir poles.
