The T*Boat is a Wood / Plywood / Resin structure. The T* comes in 2 Versions. The T*5 is a one person version and the “Coming Soon” T*Six is a 2 person version. The T*5 can be built from scratch using our Drawing and Instruction Package. Or it can be built using the T*5 Kit.

Thurlow provides you with three different construction alternatives: wood-strip planking, with frames; woodstrip frameless planking covered with fiberglass; and wood-canvas construction.

Construction: Glued lapstrake clinker plywood. Alternative construction: Traditional plank, cold molded and strip plank.

I originally designed this kayak for a customer with a lake house in Wisconsin. He is a fit, athletic guy with almost no experience in a kayak. He wanted something he felt comfortable in, yet which would move along nicely.
