Motorboats - Outboard

Pretty Marsh

This runabout was designed for a man who wanted a boat as elegant and beautiful as the landscape surrounding his summer home at Pretty Marsh on Mount Desert. With lots of flare in the bow sections, and tumblehome at the stern, she has looks that match her performance. Moderate deadrise gives good performance with modest horsepower, a soft and predictable ride. Rugged construction means she can take a pounding if she has to.The plans show alternatives for outboard or I/O propulsion and runabout or center console layout. Construction is for developed plywood, but this design could be modified for aluminum construction as well. The plans are on five sheets and include lines, construction plan & sections, and construction alternatives.
