Virginia Park is an elegant lapstrake launch. Featured in WoodenBoat #234, Sept. – Oct. 2013, Virginia Park is built in the glued lapstrake method with steam bent frames.
NEREIDE is the classical canoe used on lakes or rivers of North America. For the last two centuries it has been built with very slight differences in shape, which is in itself a guarantee of quality.
The sharply raked stem and well shaped forward sections will provide increasing buoyancy as the Endeavour punches into large waves.
Full-sized patterns for molds, so lofting is not required. Construction: Carvel-planked over steamed frames. Alternative construction: Lapstrake or strip. Plans include 4 sheets.
BlueMotion is a new 5.5m dayboat (or large dinghy) design for 2013.
Construction: Glued lapstrake plywood. Alternative construction: Traditional plank, cold-molded and strip planked. No Lofting required. Sail Area : 30 sq. ft. Plan includes 6 sheets.
Kingfisher’s shape was inspired by famous Chestnut Prospector. Hull width of 93cm, flat bottom and slim shape gives good stability and maneuverability. It is designed for crew of 2 with additional equipment (tents, fishing rods…).
Cadenza was built in 2003 by Rockport Marine from a design by L. Frances Herreshoff.
