HONEY BEE

Stonewall Boats of Westport Massachusetts has launched "Honey Bee". Stonewall's 4th hull and 3rd of the "Honey" design. Honey Bee was built for John McDonald of Vineyard Haven Massachusetts. McDonald is a long time lover and owner of wooden boats. He is a staunch supporter of maintaining Vineyard Haven's working water front and the wooden boats that make that harbor special.

The boat was built to be and heirloom skiff for McDonald's grandchildren and future generations to learn the love of messing about on a wooden boat.

Honey Bee was built of Sapele, Marine Ply (Okoume and Maranti), Teak, and Atlantic White Cedar. Her Fasteners, all from C.E. Beckman's, are Silicon Bronze screws and bolts and copper rivets.
