"L" Coquina Daysailer

This N.G. Herreshoff 1889 designed custom built Coquina “L” has similar kind of rig than International 12 foot dinghy (1912) and small fore and aft decks with watertight compartments. The hull is strip planked from red cedar, deck and rigging is from Oregon pine and her transom and trims are made from1 mahogany. The 110 sqrf sail is made by Traditional Rigging Co, Appleton, Maine and bronze fittings are from Davey & Co Ltd, London.“L” is custom build by Jari Vanhatalo, Miilu-Boats Ltd, Finland and tailored for customers needs. She has a trailer for towing and a boom tent to give her protection against the elements.She was launched mid April 2019 and test sailed just before the delivery to the owner.
