In 2015, CARLOTTA was based at Powell River, British Columbia, and was purchased by Michael Wright who lives in London. She underwent repairs and restoration work at the yard of Abernethy and Gaudin on Vancouver Island.

MALABAR II was designed by and for John G. Alden. She was built by Charles A. Morse & Son in Thomaston, Maine, and launched in 1922. MALABAR ll is the second in the series of ten schooners John Alden designed for himself.
