Långedragsjulle J10
I built this Långedragsjulle 10 in Ekami, Wooden Boat Building School, Finland. The boat’s origin is from Western Sweden in early 20th century. Originally it ought to have a bermuda rig, but I wanted more simple rig for easy towing and launching. The boat has an oak keel, stem and stern, planking from pine and mast from spruce. It will be in Helsinki International Boat Show 2016 and after that it will serve as a sunny day cruising and fishing boat for our family. On January 2016 issue British Classic Boat magazine nominated the boat as a nominee at Classic Boat Awards 2016 on Traditional New Build <40′ class.
