2015 Eggemoggin Reach Regatta

Sailing in the Eggemoggin Reach Regatta.

Steve White and Frank Hull, both of Brooklin Boat Yard, started the Eggemoggin Reach Regatta in 1985, imagining the race itself to be just one part of an opportunity for the owners and crews of these gorgeous wooden yachts to get together. A large feast, awards ceremony, and dancing into the night, await the return of the over 700 people that participate in this race each year. The first fleet of just 13 boats soon grew to more than 100, making for exciting and beautiful starts as all the boats jockey for position. The race is now co-hosted by Brooklin Boat Yard and Rockport Marine. This year's race was held on August 1st, 2015, under beautiful skies and exhilarating breezes.
