Join us on February 21st, 2026, for the
30th Annual Washington’s Birthday Regatta
at The Barnacle in Coconut Grove, Florida!
The Ralph Middleton Munroe Chapter of the Traditional Small Craft Association is hosting the Washington’s Birthday Regatta at The Barnacle Historic State Park in Coconut Grove, Florida—home of famous Sharpie sailboat designer, “Commodore” Ralph Middleton Munroe.
The weekend event includes:
Saturday, Feb. 21st
The Regatta and The Mail Run on Biscayne Bay
The Regatta will consist of three round-the-buoys races for boats less than 30 feet LOA and less than 4-foot draft, while The Mail Run will be a multi-point race, for larger “modern” boats, to bring back the mail!
Saturday Night, Feb. 21st
Chowder Party & Awards- location to be determined.
Sunday, Feb. 22nd
Rendezvous Fun Sail on Biscayne Bay for all boats.
Since this is a reenactment of the first Regatta organized on Biscayne Bay in the winter of 1887, small sailing craft of “traditional” rig are encouraged to participate!
