PHYLLIS A. Annual Benefit—Celebrate the 1950s!

Each year we combine a short annual meeting and update of the Phyllis A Marine Association with a party celebrating one of the decades the PHYLLIS A was fishing in. This year it’s the 1950s.

Please join us April 6, 2019, 6 to 10 p.m. for a light dinner, laughter, fun, and dancing! Cash bar will be available. We will be selling tickets and having a viewing of the Emile Gruppe painting that has been offered as a fundraiser*. There will be a costume contest, hula hoops, and lots of bubble gum! Tickets are $25 each and can be purchased online or by calling 978-283-9292. If space is available, they will also be available at the door.

*The Phyllis A Marine Association is excited to announce that, through a partnership with the State of the Art Gallery, a significant Emile Gruppe painting has become available and will be raffled as a benefit fundraiser on June 6th. This painting was completed in the early 1930s, is 20"x24", has been recently restored and framed, and has an appraisal value of $14,000.

Only 200 tickets will be sold, at $200 each, to raise $40,000. Monies raised beyond the appraisal value will go directly to the Phyllis A Association to support the restoration of this historical vessel.

Purchase tickets at the State-of-the-Art Gallery, 4 Wonson St. on Rocky Neck. Contact Roger @ 978/395-1783 or Phyllis A Marine Association @978/283-9292. Or click here
