Painting and Varnishing Workshop

This hands-on workshop is for anyone who wants to learn techniques to paint, varnish, and finish plywood boats. Topics covered include tools required, selecting a product, how to prepare surfaces for paint or varnish, sanding techniques and tools, masking and puttying, applying undercoat and top coats, re-installing hardware, short- and long-term maintenance, and more. Wear clothes that you don’t mind getting paint on, and come prepared for a fun and informative workshop! Wednesday, June 1 from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. $15 for members, $20 for non-members.
