Maine Maritime Museum Book and Art Sale

If you love old rare books, are looking for a special book, or a piece of maritime art for your home or as a holiday gift — or just love a bargain — don’t miss the second annual Maine Maritime Museum Store Book and Art Sale, November 3, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the museum.

To show our appreciation to our members and volunteers, they can begin their treasure hunt at 10 a.m.   Of course, member and volunteer discounts apply, too.

There will be hundreds of books to choose from. Most are single copy titles. As you might guess, maritime and nautical topics are plentiful, but there are books on other topics as well. The selection includes fiction and non-fiction works.  Many of the books are duplicate library books or donated books that do not fit into the topic area for our collection.
