Lecture: Navigating Change in Cuba

In 2017, Dr. Tracy Michaud led a group of students from the University of Southern Maine to Cuba to explore the fundamental transformations that occurred during the restoration of U.S.–Cuban diplomatic relations.

Dr. Michaud will share how students were able to explore this historic change from the unique perspective of maritime tourism development aboard the schooner HARVEY GAMAGE in “Navigating Change in Cuba: Studying Maritime Tourism Onboard a Tall Ship and a Cruise Ship.” Thursday, January 17th, 6 to 7 p.m. Tickets.
