Boatshop Workshop: Building a Wooden Paddleboard

-

Build your own hollow wooden paddleboard! In just 10 three-hour classes, each student will build and take home a paddleboard constructed of Maine cedar and plywood. Guided by the museum’s boatbuilder (an experienced wooden surfboard builder), students will construct one of three designs.

This workshop takes place on Wednesday evenings starting on June 22 through August 24, 2016 from 5-8 pm. Get all the details at www.MaineMaritimeMuseum.org, or call 207-443-1316.

No experience or special tools necessary. Class fee includes materials, but DOES NOT include fiberglassing, which can be done at home or by our Boatshop for an additional $250.00. $900 members; $950 nonmembers.
