BoatShop Adventures: Build a Toy Fishing Boat

Learn to make a toy purse seiner fishing boat!

Children age four through 12 are invited to the historic Eddon Boatyard to learn about the purse seiner, the most common fishing boat in Gig Harbor, and to build a toy seiner to take home. Children will learn to use a hammer, hand drill, nails, glue, and will paint their boat under the guidance of expert BoatShop instructors. Children must be accompanied by a parent.
