Bending Wood Workshop

Boats often have parts which need a little (or sometimes a lot of) persuasion to fit into place. We’ll look into several ways to bend wood to your will, including sawing, laminating and steaming. We’ll cover which technique is appropriate for a particular application, and what tools and materials are best. Everybody gets to make sample parts to take home.

All tools and materials will be provided. Please wear work clothes!

The workshop will be held at the Gig Harbor BoatShop fro 1pm to 5pm.
