1841 Wilkes Expedition Reenactment Ceremony

In collaboration with the Tides Tavern, Gig Harbor BoatShop is proud to present the 175th Anniversary of the discovery of Gig Harbor. The Porpoise will row through the entrance of Gig Harbor with a crew dressed in period regalia Sunday, May 15 at noon. Join us at the Tides!

While you’re at the Tides, be sure to visit the Fourth Annual Tides Tavern Classic Boat Show. This fun (and free) event features boats from the 1920s to the 1960s. The show runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, May 14 and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, May 15.
