This sloop is an Ebihen 16. I built it using plans from French naval architect Francois Vivier and a kit from Hewes & Co., Blue Hill ME. The kit was comprised of CNC-cut Okume plywood.

SALLY

Hello, my name is SALLY. I am a Ten-Meter class sloop. The ten meters are not my length but a formula that has to do with several of my dimensions. It’s a design rule that became popular in the 1920s so skippers didn't have to argue about handicaps.

POGO

Joe Greeley launched POGO, a Footy model designed by Flavio Faloci, in 2015. Since then, she suffered severe damage in an accident in 2017 and spent the last two years “on the hard” undergoing repairs.

TREEBEARD

TREEBEARD is a custom designed and built 20′ gaff rigged sail boat. I designed at the Arques School of Traditional Boat building, and built it in my garage over a period of 6 years. The frames are bent white oak, and the planks and decking are douglas fir.
