Muninn & Huginn
First Ever Launch of Two Kerry Rowing/Racing Boats on Irish Sea 27th September at East Wall Water Sports Centre.
MARTHA GREEN
This is a 1965 all teak John Atkin designed Martha Green style cruiser. Here is what I know:
She was built by the CC Chen Company in China completely of teak. She is of very heavy construction.
She is powered by a 1950’s Gray Marine 4-52 gas engine.
Li'l Longship
I designed and built the cradle boat Li’l Longship for my soon-to-be-launched grandson. With her bold, sweeping hull lines and imposing figureheads I’ve tried to capture the spirit of the classic Viking Longship.
INTREPID
I recently finished restoring a 1960’s Comet sailboat. She needed a new deck and a good paint scraping. Many thanks to WoodenBoat School for instilling the confidence to take on such a project.
The Comet is a hard-chine boat with a low freeboard and centerboard. See WB 31.
ISLANDER
The Islander is currently undergoing extensive repairs and refitting after sitting in exposed storage conditions for nearly 2 decades. Rename is likely at a later date.
Li'l Longship
We are proud to introduce Li’l Longship, the latest addition to our extensive cradle boat fleet. Designed in the spirit of the classic Viking Longship, her sweeping lines and imposing figureheads embody the spirit of adventure and exploration when Norse sailors ruled the waterways of Europe.
MAGGIE O'
This is my CLC Shearwater Sport Hybrid. Believe it or not this is the first thing that I have ever built from wood. It took me a little over 2 years to build. Built in an unheated building and working with epoxy in Buffalo gives you less that 6 months to work per year.
