Sea Spirit

Ayle of Quinte Skiff Club

Sea Spirit was built over the past winter by members of the Ayle of Quinte Skiff Club. She joins her sister, Sea Shadow, Canada's first St Ayles skiff on the beautiful waters of the Bay of Quinte at the eastern end of Lake Ontario.

FAMILY TIME

FAMILY TIME is a sailing tri-keel fin skiff, based on Summer Breeze by David Beede. She was garage built in Rowlett, Texas, from studying several sets of internet plans.

MAR-SUE

The MAR-SUE is now 100 years old as of April 2015.

BLACK DOLPHIN

1944

Black Dolphin is a 50-foot sparred length diesel auxiliary gaff-rigged sailing ketch designed by famed Southern California yachtsman and shipwright Hugh Angelman and built … well, we aren’t sure. That is the first little mystery about the boat.

Elizabeth II

The Elizabeth II is a lovely Chaisson Dory, built in a glued lap plywood construction finished in mahogany.

We were commissioned to build this sweet rowboat for Douglas and Elizabeth Eckmann of Ft. Myers Florida to row and play around in the waves, which she does admirably.

Niarbyl II

Owner Nigel Vaughan had an old Eventide that was becoming unreparable, and couldn’t find another boat that suited his needs. He wanted to introduce a separate heads that could be accomodated by adding a foot to overall length an taking off a foot of the cabin seats.

I build this boat in 2014.
I spend over six months for this job.
She is a -Pasara- Launch.
The hull is made of three layers of spruce-3 mm thick.
Also the west system.
For the keel and the frames I used oak.
The rest in mahogany and teak.

SUE SEAY Q

Guy Seay Jr., his wife, Sue, and sons, Michael and Eric, all had a hand in building SUE SEAY Q, a 9′6″ Nutshell pram designed by Joel White. The family had bought the kit from The WoodenBoat Store.

Wood Duck 12 Kayak

Joseph Krajewski got a wonderful birthday present from his wife, a WoodenBoat School class held at Chesapeake Light Craft (www.clcboats.com) in Annapolis, Maryland. He and his son, Jason, spent five days building a 12′ plywood-and-epoxy Wood Duck kayak.
