Fully rebuilt 2013-2015 using WEST System by craftsman extraordinaire D. Sporer
ØRN came to Great Slave Lake via Vancouver, on a truck to Hay River Northwest Territories in July 2005. Prior to that her home port was Port Townsend, Washington, where she had undergone an extensive rebuild under the direction and ownership of Laingdon Schmitt.

CUTTLEFISH is one of 16 Viking 23s made in Betina, Croatia in the early 60’s. There are only 3 left of the original 16 boats. One is mine, one is in Connecticut, and was displayed at the wooden boat show in Mystic several years ago.
In 1962, Bob Ahlers of Beachwood, New Jersey built a Penguin-class sailboat, hull no. 6276, for his son, Rob. The boy and his family named the boat PLAYBOY, and sailed it at the Beachwood Yacht Club for some time.
Mill Creek 16.5 decked canoe, built from plans from Chesapeake Light Craft. Construction time was about 200 hours over the course of 5 years. Canoe is perfect for Dad in back seat and two kids, ages 3 and 5) in the front.
