I purchased a 1959 Lyman 23 foot sleeper a few years back that was in VERY bad shape. If you are a car enthusiast you will know what I mean when I say a “frame off” restoration. New transom. many new planks, ribs, keel parts, keelson, everything to bare wood, all chrome re chromed.
My Chesapeake Light Craft 10 foot Wood Duck was completed in 2013. All my previous boats are called Yellowrose and so to this one.
I am restoring a 14′ 1955 Century Seaflyte outboard. It’s mahogany lapstrake planked and will be completed for this summer. I’ve been working on this project for the last three years on and off. It was completely original when I received it.
